3. Appearances From UK Talent

Sticking with the idea of surprise appearances and fresh of the back of the recent United Kingdom Championship Tournament, we could be in line to see some of the stars from that weekend appear at the Rumble in some kind of capacity.

Much has already been made of WWE's decision to pull Mark Andrews, Pete Dunne and Trent Seven from an appearance on the Working a Resthold podcast, which had been schedule to take place on—coincidentally—the very same weekend as the Royal Rumble show.

Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer, has noted that “WWE is bringing some of the UK talent to San Antonio next week for Royal Rumble weekend” and while no mention is made as to whether or not that would lead to an actual on-screen appearance—be it on NXT or at the Rumble itself—it’s sounding more and more likely that at least some of the UK performers could show their faces at some point.

Tyler Bate, as UK Champion, would probably be the most obvious choice, but at this point I'd love to see any of them make their presence felt in some way or another.
