Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family may have been heavily featured in the poster for this year's Payback event, but that doesn't mean much. Posters are drawn up months in advance, and the parties who created it couldn't have foreseen the group's bad luck.

Last month, former Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper suffered a knee injury during a Raw dark match which was estimated to keep him out of action for five to six months. The group continued in his absence, and a face turn and feud with The League of Nations was teased on the Raw after WrestleMania, but on the opening show of WWE's European tour earlier this month, Bray Wyatt suffered a leg injury of his own. Since then, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman have also been kept off TV, waiting for their leader to return.

Wyatt's injury is much less severe than Harper's, and he's only expected to miss a total of four to six weeks of action. It's only been about two and a half weeks, though, and even though the Pay-Per-View would be a great place to bring "The Eater of Worlds" back, odds are he's just not physically up to it yet.
