Already handed the responsibility of selling the incoming stadium-sized Money in the Bank, WWE's resident American Nightmare appears primed to be the poster boy for their Allegiant Stadium return.

And with Cody Rhodes making his World Championship ambitions known from the second his unmistakable white boot was back in the door, he understandably sits as the odds-on favourite to walk out of Las Vegas as Mr. Money in the Bank.

The only real obstacle that could present itself to the visual of the one-time AEW EVP scaling one of the objects he became particularly fond of whilst performing for WWE's current biggest rivals would be the fact that Roman Reigns will likely be in need of a blockbuster challenge for such a mouth-watering Premium Live Event.

Last year saw The Tribal Chief finally duke it out with Edge one-on-one, and outside of perhaps stringing a few clashes with Drew McIntyre together over the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Hell in a Cell onwards, Cody perhaps sits as the only real threat to Reigns' place at The Head of the Table.

Logic would suggest Rhodes adding a MITB notch to his weight belt is the current plan - you can see the Nightmare Briefcase now - but it'll likely depend what side of the bed Vinnie Mac wakes up on that morning...
