10 Leading Contenders To Win 2022 WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Matches

8. Lacey Evans

If history has taught us one thing it's that the most memorable and effective holders of the all important titular briefcase have often found themselves operating on the more devious side of the heel/face divide. And according to a hilariously unexpected shift in direction, that's precisely where Lacey Evans is set to find herself on Monday Night Raw in the immediate future.

Evans clearly possesses all the elements required to pull off a despicably sneaky cash-in on the champ of her choosing should she come away with a world title shot on the night. And remarkably, despite playing her part in numerous feuds over Women's straps since her main roster debut in 2019, the former Marine has never actually won a title whilst under the WWE banner.

That unwanted statistic will inevitably be scratched off her CV before long, however.

And while WWE have seemingly fumbled her most recent comeback by squandering the good will generated by her traumatic and honest promos that touched upon, among other things, her dad's struggles with addiction, the wholly positive reaction that greeted her on SmackDown recently suggests that a babyface Women's Championship run post-cash-in could likely lead to seriously big business for all involved.
