10 Legendary Wrestlers Who Never Won A Major World Title
8. Arn Anderson
Arn Anderson was the best there was at what he did. Unfortunately, while that did include wrestling, what he will always be known for is Enforcing. Arn Anderson was The Enforcer and he’s been doing it for his whole fifteen year career and beyond. He was the enforcer for the Four Horsemen and he was an enforcer for McMahon for WWE’s talent dept.
But there in lied the problem. While aligning himself with Flair he could no more become champion than he could become CEO of WWE. He was the right hand man, never the man. Always the muscle, never the face.
And for a man with the work ethic of Anderson that might seem tragic, but that was what AA was all about. He was a company man, loyal to his master whether that master be Flair, McMahon or Ted Turner. For Anderson it was never about the prize, but always about the power.
