3. Andre The Giant's Undefeated Streak

Goldberg’s 173-0 run at the start of his WCW career might be the most notable undefeated streak in modern wrestling history, but it loses credibility when you examine the finer details. Goldberg was a monster, sure, but it’s generally accepted that 173-0 is an inflated number, and includes a number of house show matches that may or may not have actually taken place.

Instead, wrestling’s most impressive undefeated streak belongs to Andre The Giant. Debuting for WWE in 1973, Andre spent 20 years with the company, and went undefeated through his first 15 The run saw him burn through rivalries with the likes of Ernie Ladd, Blackjack Mulligan, and Hulk Hogan, who finally handed Andre his first loss in their famous showdown at WrestleMania III.

Like Goldberg’s streak, the credibility of Andre’s undefeated run is often brought into question, and he did wrestle a handful of time-limit draws with Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race. Still, modern 50/50 booking makes it impossible for anyone to even come close to this number. To put things into perspective, if John Cena was given this streak, his first defeat wouldn’t come until early next year.

As it stands, 15 years is an incredible number that sounds almost impossible on paper. This makes it a perfect fit for Andre, who remains wrestling’s most important spectacle athlete.
