10 Legends WWE Dumped In Awful Feuds

2. The Undertaker (Heidenreich)

Premise: Big Jon Heidenreich was the latest monster WWE programmed opposite The Undertaker when he debuted in 2004 and targeted 'The Deadman'. Spurred on by the guidance of Paul Heyman, Heidenreich wrestled 'Taker at Survivor Series '04 and the 2005 Royal Rumble. The latter was a Casket Match.

Why It Was Awful: The Undertaker could be forgiven for blowing a gasket (blowing a casket?) over all the horrible workers he's been asked to carry over the decades. Heidenreich was one of the worst, and he never looked comfortable in-ring or like a genuine threat to 'Taker's legacy.

Fans also refused to treat Jon's poetry as anything other than a hangover from the mid-'90s cartoon gimmick era.

Less than one full year after bothering The Undertaker, Heidenreich was donning face paints as Hawk's replacement in a revamped LOD with Animal. He basically went from stinking up rings under his own gimmick to doing it using someone else's.
