10 Lessons Learned From Attending WWE NXT TakeOver London

3. We Don't Like Top-Knots

Poor Tye Dillinger. He didn't deserve this, but it was funny as hell. The crowd loved him when he first came out. They'd been chanting "TEN" all night in appreciation of his gimmick (or they just liked chanting the word 'ten', who knows) and gave him a big ovation. However, when it transpired that his opponent for the night would be none other than Sami Freakin' Zayn, the crowd soon soured and began targeting the lad for abuse. And they targeted his top knot. For a city with a thriving hipster contingent, the man-bun was very much persona non grata last night. As Dillinger twisted Zayn with a wristlock, the crowd began to chant at him, 'F*** your top knot, clap clap, clap-clap-clap, F*** YOUR TOP KNOT' This was followed up by a rousing chorus of "TOP KNOT W**KER, clap clap, clap-clap-clap, TOP KNOT W**KER". Brutal. Poor Tye. His top knot's a piece of s**t to be fair though.
