10 Lessons WWE's Main Roster Is Slowly Learning From NXT's Success

8. Protect Finishes At All Costs

At 6'8" 275 pounds, Baron Corbin has been already blessed by having the size that WWE so often covets in their star performers. Everything else insofar as his performance is coming along though, as he's not about to challenge The Spoiler or The Undertaker as a "legendary big man wrestler." However, while all of that has been developing, in his End of Days finisher maybe being one of the most protected maneuvers on either the NXT or main roster, he's got something going for him to keep him relevant while the rest of the pieces come together. WWE's figuring this out kinda-sorta when they want, as for as much as Braun Strowman's choke sleeper and Neville's Red Arrow work, John Cena usually requires 37 Attitude Adjustments to win a match against well, anyone. If ALL finishers were as protected as Baron Corbin's End of Days though, perhaps being able to give every wrestler something upon which to hang their hat could occur.
