On Thursday, EVOLVE held a special seminar/tryout with experienced wrestlers invited to attend.

Not only did trainer Drew Gulak share the wealth of his knowledge and experience with the class, and not only was one lucky participant chosen for a match at Saturday's EVOLVE show, but William Regal, Matt Bloom, and Canyon Cemen were in attendance to check out the next potential crop of EVOLVE stars.

Washington's Darby Allin was given the slot on the EVOLVE show, and he went one on one with "All Ego" Ethan Page. Though the larger Page dominated Allin en route to a rather speedy victory, Allin showed a lot of acrobatic talent and a very impressive bumping ability. Even in a short rout, he was entertaining.

While nothing has been announced, I expect to see Darby Allin back in EVOLVE soon. I also expect the company to hold additional seminars to try and find the independent stars of tomorrow.
