10 Live Observations From ICW's Fear And Loathing VIII

3. ICW Shows Are Too Long

A night out at an ICW show is one of the best value nights that you can ever spend as a wrestling fan. You get hours of great wrestling, music, epic entrances, twists and turns, an enthusiastic crowd and there€™s always bar for you to grab a Coca Cola or a Budweiser from.

I€™ve been going to shows sporadically for the last four years and I€™ve never once felt like the show wasn€™t worth the price of admission or I that I didn€™t get my moneys worth. In truth, I think my one issue with the events is actually the opposite.

ICW runs regular shows in Glasgow and now tours the UK, but every show I€™ve been to lasts about four hours. The problem is that by the end of the shows, I€™m always left feeling exhausted and trying to remember everything that happened. I commend the company for always wanting to give the fanbase all that they€™ve got but I think it€™s sometimes too much.

At Fear & Loathing there was a ton of action but there were also two intervals and the show ran for four hours. Given that the shows are all standing with no option for seated tickets, it€™s tough just to stand for four hours and not feel a little exhausted or sore by the end of the night.

When saying the shows are too long is the biggest complaint you can have about a company then they€™re doing pretty well, but if the shows were shorter and a little tighter with a little less content? Watch out, Vince!
