10 Live Observations From Attending WrestleMania 32
8. One More Match
The fourth match between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho went on next, and it was the best match the two have had yet. They got a lot of time to put on a great performance (it was the third-longest match on the show, after the two main events), and while things never hit the "classic" or even "match of the show" level, it wasn't a disappointment.
Jericho's clean win seemed a bit ill-conceived given that Styles is a new talent who could potentially anchor WWE. I'm assuming the company's reasoning is that the program between the two isn't finished, and they'll likely have a blowoff stipulation match at Payback.
I'll be looking forward to Jericho and Styles's fifth and final contest, but let's be clear - WrestleMania is the show that everybody watches, and Styles should have picked up the win on the grandest stage of all.
