10 Live Observations From Attending WrestleMania 32
7. The Power Of Suggestion
One of the things for which AT&T Stadium is famous are the absolutely enormous screens that hang just under the retractable roof. The 175-foot wide screens were certified by Guinness World Records as the world's largest HD Video Displays, and while they've since been beaten, they remain very large.
The screens served as WrestleMania's Titantrons... and more. During the New Day-League of Nations match, WWE actually used the boards as giant "applause" signs, airing graphics that prompted fans to chant "Ayyye, we want The New Day" and "New Day Rocks!" This continued later in the show, as the signs kept track of how many suplexes Brock Lesnar had hit and requested that we yell "WOOOOO!" when Charlotte locked in the Figure 8.
Fans responded well to the requests, cheering just as WWE wanted. Thankfully, they never asked us to chant for Roman Reigns.
