10 Live Observations From Attending WrestleMania 32
5. Short-Changed
Prior to WrestleMania, I had some concern (as I do every year) that the undercard matches wouldn't get the time that they needed to be as good as they could be. Given that the top two matches on the show this year ensured that the undercard had to be especially good, that concern was stronger than ever.
Thankfully, I didn't need to worry - each and every bout on the undercard got all the time that it needed. In fact, the only match on the entire show that felt short was Brock Lesnar versus Dean Ambrose. The two put together a brutal and entertaining contest, but it didn't quite live up to expectations, and another five minutes might have changed that.
Yes, given the fact that Dean Ambrose took 13 suplexes, it's easy for me to say they should have gone longer. Still, fans were into the bout and with some more time, they could have repeatedly teased the finish to great effect. They also could have given Ambrose more offense, helping him save face on his journey back to the midcard.
