5. Scotty Too Hotty
Being honest, this is only here for a halfway point giggle.
WWE's obsession with cinematic matches and downright goofy content carried them through a few tough spots in 2020, but WrestleMania Backlash 2021's "Zombie Lumberjack" match was a step too far for some fans. Damian Priest and The Miz tried to work a match around the flesh-eaters at ringside, but it was mission impossible.
One of the zombies was ex-Too Cool member Scotty Too Hotty. Or Scotty 2 Hotty if you're bangin' it, bangin' it, bangin' it, bangin' it. Yep, this writer just showed off serious uncool dad doing his best, 'How do you do fellow kids?' knock off vibes with that riffing on Too Cool's old theme song.
Scotty didn't shed the zombie prosthetics to become a regular during the pandemic days, but it's fun that he was willing to make a fool of himself at 'Mania Backlash at all. Someone missed a trick by having him camp out behind the announce desk without doing zombie commentary though.
