Billy Gunn's partner in The New Age Outlaws had to wait even longer than The One to return to the WrestleMania stage. Road Dogg joined forces with Gunn and Kane at WrestleMania XXX, but the corporate trio had next to no luck as they were quickly squashed by The Shield.

You have to go back almost a decade and a half to find Road Dogg's previous WrestleMania performance. Kane was also involved, although the Big Red Monster was on the opposing side of the ring (and the other side of the winner's purse) at WrestleMania 2000.

On that night, Road Dogg teamed with fellow D-Generation X member X-Pac to go up against Kane and Rikishi. The DX team lasted longer in 2000 than the corporate trio did in 2014, albeit only by one minute and five seconds. Road Dogg lost every single tag team match he was involved in at WrestleMania, so if Jesse James asks you to be his 'Mania partner you would be well-advised to turn the former Intercontinental Champion down.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
