The second brother tag team on this list, Carlito & Primo came together in 2008 and success came around just as quickly.

They defeated Hawkins & Ryder in a non-title bout in their first match together, and picked up the titles just a couple of weeks later. They had the honour of unifying the WWE Tag Team Championships with the WWE World Tag Team Championships, which they did by defeating John Morrison & The Miz on the WrestleMania XXV pre-show.

The Colón Brothers would drop the belts to the team of Chris Jericho and Edge, who were added to a match that also included Legacy (Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes) at the last minute. They split up soon after, although they did briefly reform in 2010 before Carlito was released from the company.

Carlito is one of many mid card talents from the late 2000s that could have amounted to something more, but just didn't seem to be able to push on to the next level. It is thus apt that his greatest success, unifying the tag titles, is often forgotten.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
