Coming ahead of X-Pac in alphabetical order (and because one of them is Triple H and the other is X-Pac), Triple H's second run also lasted 120 days.

There was some controversy in how his first run ended, after Owen Hart defeated Goldust (who was dressed as Triple H). As Commissioner Slaughter was feuding with D-Generation X at the time, he deemed Goldust to be a worthy replacement for Hunter and thus the result stood.

Triple H would defeat Owen for the title two months later, before losing it to D-Lo Brown in July 1998.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
