10 Longest WWE Hardcore Title Reigns Ever

8. Al Snow - 35 Days

I'll admit it, I was a big fan of Al Snow growing up. I was too young to get the sexual implications of 'Head', but I totally bought into the wild-eyed crazy man who carried around a mannequin's bonce with 'HELP ME' written backwards on it. Snow's WWE career was more entertaining than truly given credit for, as anyone who can defeat themselves in a hardcore match is okay by me.

Snow was one of the most successful Hardcore champions of all time, holding the belt a total of six times for a combined number of 129 days. This averages out at 21 days a reign, which is one of the highest for those with multiple title runs. His second longest run was 35 days, from September 7th 1999 until October 12th of that very same year. This was Snow's third run, and he was awarded the title by previous champion The British Bulldog on an episode of Smackdown.

Snow's run would be ended by The Big Boss Man, also on Smackdown, in the midst of their heated rivalry that would end in the Kennel From Hell match, arguably the Attitude Era's shining moment,

Arguably.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
