10 Lowest Rated WWE Matches Of All Time (According To Dave Meltzer)

3. The Bushwhackers Vs. The Fabulous Rougeaus (WrestleMania V)

Rating: -4 stars

WrestleMania V is best remembered for its Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage main event, but much of the card was lacklustre. We've already covered the horrors of Jake Roberts vs. Andre The Giant, but it also featured a number of other duds including Bobby Heenan vs. Red Rooster, and Bad News Brown vs. Jim Duggan.

The worst match came early in the evening, when The Bushwhackers faced The Fabulous Rougeaus in a certified stinker. It wasn't much of a wrestling match, and instead of actively engaging with each other, Luke and Butch spent most of it strutting around like goofballs, with the Rougeaus intermittently hitting a couple of rudimentary moves and holds.

"I've yet to see a single wrestling hold in this match," said Jesse Ventura about halfway through. Along with the lack of action, some terrible selling from both teams and a weak finish make this one of WrestleMania's worst ever tag matches.

It should never have made tape, and while The Bushwhackers weren't exactly known as great technical wrestlers in WWE, Jacques and Raymond Rougeau should be deeply embarrassed of their involvement in this one.
