10 Mae Young Classic Wrestlers WWE Must Sign

8. Candice LeRae

Signing Candice LeRae should really be a no-brainer. She came in with one of the tournament's biggest reputations, and justified the hype with a strong showing against the inexperienced Renee Michelle in round one, then again with Nicole Savoy in the second, before falling to Shayna Baszler in the quarter finals.

Candice is one of America's most popular independent wrestlers. She's primarily known for intergender wrestling and her work as one half of the World's Cutest Tag Team with Joey Ryan, which may explain the company's decision to hold off on signing her thus far. Regardless, LeRae is just as adapt at competing within the confines of a women's division, and has put on a number of great matches on both sides of the Atlantic this year.

She's also married to Johnny Gargano, which means there's a ready-made storyline for WWE to take advantage of should they agree a deal.

LeRae's appearance in an NXT battle royal led to speculation that she'd been signed back in April, though this hasn't happened yet. Either way, she's one of the most notable names that WWE haven't signed yet. Surely it's only a matter of time?
