WWE currently have a number of Indian wrestlers on their books. Jinder Mahal obviously takes top billing, but there are also guys like Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar, who have been doing the rounds on NXT's house show circuit for months, but are yet to debut on television.

The company are clearly serious about expanding into what they feel is an untapped wrestling market, but it's surprising that they haven't scooped a women's wrestler from the region yet. Fortunately, the answer is right under their noses.

Kavita Devi put forth a strong effort against Dakota Kai in the MYC's first round. The match lasted less than four minutes, but she was put over as a strong, dominant competitor in defeat. Much of this was down to her opponent's expert selling, but she caused quite the stir on social media, and attracted huge interest online, particularly in India.

Devi attended WWE's Dubai tryout in April, but hasn't actually signed with the company yet, despite working at the Performance Center prior to the tourney. Now would be an excellent time to sign the Great Khali-trained athlete, though she'd likely need some more experience before making it to TV.
