10 Mae Young Classic Wrestlers WWE Must Sign

6. Mia Yim

Otherwise known as former TNA Knockouts Champion Jade, Mia Yim defeated Sarah Logan in the Mae Young Classic's first round, before falling to Shayna Baszler at the next stage. Both sit among the tournament's better bouts thus far, with her technical ability, athleticism, and in-ring versatility shining throughout.

Yim is an excellent all-rounder. She's just as comfortable throwing nasty strikes as she is applying snug submission holds, and she's a great seller too. Furthermore, she was with TNA for close to four years, so she already knows how to work a sports entertainment-friendly style, and shouldn't need to be taught how to play to a hard TV camera - a common problem among new WWE signees.

WWE could probably throw Yim on Raw or SmackDown tomorrow and she wouldn't look out of place. In fact, given the sheer volume of fresh talent in the Performance Center at the moment, this may just be the best option. She'd be one of NXT's strongest wrestlers, but the likes of Kairi Sane, Lacey Evans, and Sarah Logan are on the cusp of breaking out in developmental, and her presence would only detract from her fellow newcomers.
