"As of September 30, 2014, the Company held $68.7 million in cash and short-term investments" is what WWE's September financials stated. Beyond that, Vince McMahon is a very rich man in personal wealth. Despite the Network woes and projected losses, this isn't a company that's facing bankruptcy. They have money and resources to invest, they just need to be a bit wiser with what they invest it in. The financial assets could be used to secure the few libraries of tape that Vince McMahon doesn't own. Or how about signing more of the talented indie wrestlers who could have long term value to WWE's business? The financial assets of WWE are still considerable and austerity shouldn't mean stopping all spending.
