Prichard had another great story about The Undertaker's own disbelief when he was tasked with dragging the uncoordinated Giant Gonzales through several matches in 1993. 'Taker was disgusted at the thought of working with the lumbering big man, and probably thought it was some sort of rib.

It was a rib...on the fans expected to pay for the privilege of watching.

Bruce recalled on his podcast that The Undertaker pulled him to the side and asked why he was put with Gonzales. Later, when he was feuding with King Kong Bundy, he hauled Prichard off again and wondered aloud why the company repeatedly fed him big men who either couldn't work or could barely move.

The WWF's grand plan for 'Taker was to repeatedly book him against "monsters". He wouldn't have the kind of feud he wanted until Mick Foley joined the promotion as Mankind and let the previously-slow 'Deadman' quicken his in-ring style.
