10 Marriages WWE Acknowledged And Turned Into Storylines

3. Booker T. And Sharmell

Few wrestling spouses have played the second to their husbands better than Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman, better known as Queen Sharmell. During the mid-2000s, Sharmell was a perfect valet for Booker, with the husband-wife duo gaining great success €“ a United States Championship reign, a King of the Ring and a World Heavyweight Championship (Booker€™s only WWE world title win). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLmUveldJvE Although they had been an onscreen force for about a year, the Booker and Sharmell pairing took off when Booker won the 2006 King of the Ring tournament. With Sharmell playing off her status as a former Miss Black America €“ complete with tiara €“ the couple began speaking in faux British accents and putting on airs, and Booker referred to himself as the King of the Smackdown kingdom. They ruled over Smackdown for a good chunk of the year and remained an onscreen duo until Booker was injured and both were released in 2007.
