10 Matches We NEED To See At WWE SummerSlam 2021
5. SmackDown Women's Title: Bianca Belair (c) Vs. Sasha Banks
There is no physical way that Bianca Belair vs. Bayley can last through to SummerSlam. Their Hell In A Cell match was great. Their upcoming I Quit match at Money In The Bank is probably going to rule hard, too. Good for them. It's not enough for SummerSlam, sadly.
Thus, welcome back, Sasha Banks.
'The Legit Boss' hasn't been seen since dropping the title to Belair at WrestleMania 37, however, she is being advertised for the 16 July edition of SmackDown - the first show as part of WWE's return to touring. Remember how much of a banger the pair had in 'Mania's first night main event? The duo would no doubt achieve a similar feat on 21 August.
Belair's title win was, rightfully so, as emotional as they get. She's failed to reach that same level in the aftermath, though. The aforementioned feud with 'The Role Model' would have been a killer story had it gone down this time last year when Bayley was surging as a top heel, but now? It's past the point of properly caring about it.
While Bianca vs. Sasha's 'Mania story was hardly the stuff of legend, it was miles better than this nonsense. A triple threat with added Bayley would be a delight, however, 18 July will mark the third straight pay-per-view title clash for her and Belair. A break is very much required.
