10 Matches We NEED To See At WWE SummerSlam 2021

The same rule sort of applies to the Raw Women's Championship picture, too.

Charlotte Flair has been down the throat of Rhea Ripley since even before she became the Raw Women's Champion. Her inclusion in Rhea and Asuka's 'Mania clash seemed inevitable, so when 'The Queen' missed out on WrestleMania entirely, a three-month-long title quest against 'The Nightmare' apparently seemed logical for WWE creative. There is a way to save it, however.

Becky Lynch.

Rumours of Becky's return have been swirling more than usual recently, with the iconic figure being spotted training, looking jacked, observing behind the scenes matches at the Performance Center between training, and being present backstage at TV and pay-per-view. Dave Meltzer said himself that 'The Man' will be back "relatively soon".

Money In The Bank is the date for this, ideally. There's no money in another Flair vs. Ripley showdown, but Lynch simply strutting out pre-match to insert herself also doesn't work for her big comeback spot. Give Charlotte and Rhea some time in-ring to have a decent encounter, and then have Becky run-in mid-match, lay the pair out, and set up your SummerSlam 2021 Raw Women's Championship story.

Regardless of when or how Becky returns, she's going to be in the title picture somehow. A SummerSlam triple threat that involves Flair is the perfect call back to the origins of 'The Man'.
