10. Vladimir Kozlov (WWE Championship Match Vs Triple H) - Survivor Series 2008
The 'Super Athlete' Rusev has already proven to be quite the success in WWE, gaining solid heat from crowds (aided massively by the lovely Lana) and performing admirably in the ring. He is scheduled to go up against John Cena at WWE Fastlane in just a few days time, the biggest match of his young career. He is likely to fare much, much better in this pressurised scenario than Vladimir Kozlov, the WWE's last attempt to present a Russian monster heel, who helped deliver one of the worst Pay-Per-View main events in history. Kozlov made his Smackdown debut on April 4th 2008 and quickly rose through the ranks, mostly by decimating local jobbers. To the surprise of pretty much everyone, he was then quickly thrust into the WWE Championship picture, resulting in a one on one match at Survivor Series against Triple H. To say that Kozlov's lack of experience was badly exposed in this match would be an understatement. He and The Game stunk up the joint, with Hunter unable to lead the rookie to anything resembling a decent encounter. He never should have been in there in the first place. The match is only remembered at all due to the late appearance of Edge, who interfered and somehow conspired to leave with the title. In fact, WWE recognized that the match was a dud, leading to it being billed as a Triple Threat on the subsequent DVD! Kozlov went on to be drafted to ECW, then teamed with Santino Marella for a period as a comedy duo, before he was wished the best in his future endeavours on August 5th 2011.
