6. Mike Knox (World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match) - No Way Out 2009
WE's often baffling booking tactics, Knox was thrust into the main event No Way Out 2009 as one of six men in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match, despite the crowd having little to know idea who this bearded behemoth was. The match itself has gone down in history as one of the best Chamber matches ever, thanks in no small part to Edge (who was at the height of his powers of winning matches he wasn't actually supposed to be in, after ambushing Kofi Kingston and stealing his spot in the Chamber) and Rey Mysterio, who put on a clinic during the final stretch. Knox was the second man eliminated, by Chris Jericho, but it's a real struggle to remember him contributing much to proceedings. It's tempting to wonder if the WWE Universe simply never got to see the best of Mike Knox. He certainly had a good look and could have functioned as a member of The Wyatt Family, had he stuck around in the company. After his release in 2010, he returned to the independent circuit before signing with TNA, where he wrestled as Knux, a member of the motorcycle gang Aces & Eights and later became the leader of The Menagerie, a band of carnival folk. Oh Mike Knox, we barely knew ye.
