10 Mistakes From WrestleMania 36 That WWE Must Not Repeat

7. Making NXT Look Weak

The promotion have a nasty habit of making NXT look weak generally.

Last year, both major call ups for the twin-pronged cards were female. Both also ended up on the losing end to established names like Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch; just like Rhea Ripley's showing, Shayna Baszler's was unconvincing at best and a false start that shouldn't have happened at worst.

Shayna is actually excellent. Anyone who watched her on NXT could tell you that, but WWE decided to make her (and Ripley) look second-rate on the biggest stage of the entire year. These back-to-back defeats for women who dominated NXT's division did nothing to make the brand look like a winner.

If WWE fancy drafting another star or two from NXT to Raw and SmackDown before 'Mania 37, then they must make sure that they're properly booked. Penning them as instant losers won't help anybody succeed.
