10 Mistakes From WrestleMania 36 That WWE Must Not Repeat

4. Thinking Ambience Doesn’t Matter

Looking back, there's no doubt that WWE could've done more to tart up the tiny confines of the Performance Center and make 'Mania 36 look unique compared to weekly TV shows like Raw and SmackDown. If anything, both nights came across as souped-up episodes of telly rather than some huge pay-per-view.

Vinnie Mac has learned his lesson here, at least a little.

The ThunderDome has helped transform company programming since last summer. Both Amway Center and Tropicana Field have looked one million times better than the PC did in April 2020, and hopes are high that WWE will come through again at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa this year.

WrestleMania-worthy scale is a must this time. For example, a small pocket of live fans or not, there's no reason why WWE can't install groups of LED screens around the place to open it up a little and increase the visual 'wow factor'. They've got the cameras to pan right over the Buc's home and make it pop on screen.
