10 Mistakes From WrestleMania 36 That WWE Must Not Repeat

3. Unwanted Title Changes

Braun Strowman
WWE

This pandemic is unpredictable, and it has been since March 2020. There's a very-real possibility it'll scupper some of WWE's plans again. If that happens, then they should be more accustomed to adapting things on the fly and coming up with solutions that are more satisfying to the audience.

In other words, don't book anything like Braun Strowman's Universal Title win over Goldberg again. That was unnecessary and unwanted, and it only happened because Roman Reigns took a (sensible) sabbatical from action. Still, forcing title changes for the sake of it isn't smart.

Braun's title run was one of 2020's biggest disasters.

It was, by far, the worst of those three belt switches that happened across 'Mania 36 weekend. Strowman's win was so redundant that it almost made Charlotte Flair's triumph over Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Title look like the best idea going by comparison.

At least that was planned from the beginning.
