Botch: The scripted ending for SummerSlam 1995's ladder-based rematch between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon called for HBK to boot Razor off the ladder and haul down the prized Intercontinental Title belt there and then.

When he leapt for the belt though, Shawn missed and took a nasty bump to the canvas. He'd actually botch the finish twice before finally pulling down the title.

How It Enhanced The Match: Michaels' hissy fit and visible annoyance over bungling the finish heaped yet more emotion onto the rollercoaster ride he and Ramon had created. Fans, as well as Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix on commentary, were willing to forgive his mistakes.

Some likely didn't even know he'd f*cked up.

Shawn and Razor improvised a new finish before Michaels took the win. Their skill, composure and chemistry helped hide the fact that HBK, perfectionist though he is, took longer to scale the ladder and take the title than he'd planned.
