10 Mistakes WWE Are Still Paying For
2. Jason Jordan Is Kurt Angle's Son
A long-term injury suffered by Jason Jordan earlier in the year has conveniently taken this glaring error out of the spotlight over the last couple of months, but it's likely to rear its ugly head again the second he returns to fitness.
It's still impossible to see how the storyline will end without seriously harming Jordan's long-term career prospects. He's either going to come out of it a Roman Reigns-style baby-face (i.e. one who the fans absolutely loathe) or a heel with virtually no credibility.
Mostly, this is a consequence of the initial decision to shoehorn him into a major storyline before he had the opportunity to get the crowd on side by himself, the result of which is that his sudden main event push feels forced and undeserved.
There's also the dilly-dallying that followed, though. For a while, it seemed like the writers couldn't make their mind up about whether he was supposed to be a whiny, entitled second-generation star or a wholesome good guy. How were we supposed to know how to react to him?
