10 Mistakes WWE Made With WrestleMania 33

8. Howard Finkel Missed His First WrestleMania

In the first 32 years of WrestleMania, there was only a single man who appeared on-screen at each and every iteration of the show of shows. No, it's not Vince McMahon - it's Howard Finkel. The longtime ring announcer did his job at the shows in the '90s, and while he was phased out from regularly announcing in the 21st century, he'd still show up at WrestleMania to announce the inductees into the Hall of Fame class.

This year, though, 'The Fink' was nowhere to be found, with a different announcer taking his place, thus ending the longest streak in WrestleMania history. It was sad, especially for older fans, to see an entire WrestleMania go by without Finkel.

So far, there's been no word as to why Finkel wasn't included. If it was due to health or personal issues, obviously WWE isn't to blame. If Vince McMahon made the call to exclude him, though (and that seems likely, given that he tweeted two days ago about how happy he was to begin his 37th year of employment with the company), it's just cruel and unnecessary.
