The past year has seen incredible things happen with the WWE women's division, both on Raw and SmackDown. Charlotte and Sasha Banks had a history-making feud, Bayley and Naomi both became champions, and Alexa Bliss made herself one of SmackDown's MVPs.

So many women worked so hard that, in a sense, it was nice that they all got spots on the WrestleMania card. Unfortunately, the flip side of that was that the two Women's Championship matches felt rushed, and with so many people involved, they weren't able to deliver a classic.

Just imagine if WWE had built up a compelling feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks, and they got to go out and have a 15-minute match. Meanwhile, on the SmackDown side, Bliss and Naomi could have done the same. They also could have turned Charlotte face and put her in a pre-show match with Nia Jax. Any or all of those bouts could have been classics worthy of everything that's happened over the past year, but instead, the matches featured were overcomplicated to the point of suffering for it.
