Becky Lynch has been the hottest WWE superstar since SummerSlam 2018.

WWE and Lynch have developed everything right in the build to WrestleMania 35. At Survivor Series 2018, Lynch was on track to be rewarded with a marquee match that would have headlined the PPV. Unfortunately, Lynch was injured creating the best image of 2018, with the Irish star, face covered in blood, standing tall and looking like a main event badass.

In hindsight, this has been a blessing in disguise. This assisted Lynch to becoming the most over WWE superstar since Daniel Bryan circa 2014. Becky subsequently went on to win the Royal Rumble 2019 and earn a title shot at WrestleMania 35.

With this win, WWE corrected the wrongdoing from Royal Rumble 2014, where Daniel Bryan had a match early in the card, but didn't re-appear to win the Royal Rumble as expected. With this, WWE provoked an unprecedented backlash to close out the show.

On the other side, Charlotte Flair, WWE’s chosen one, was a shoe-in for a number of years to be part of the first women's match to headline a WrestleMania, until Lynch rose and leapfrogged her.

Like Rollins and Kingston, Lynch is on the path to the ultimate underdog WrestleMania win. But “to be the man, you gotta beat the man." Can you not see Charlotte Flair exclaiming this the night after WrestleMania 35 after defeating Becky Lynch?

WWEs most fatal mistake here is considering anyone but Becky Lynch end the show with the title above her head.
