WrestleMania displays the climax of a storied rivalry. This is where the hero ultimately overcomes their antagonist, stands tall, and proves that all that good things come to those who wait. The fan-pleasing moment for Brock Lesnar to be permanently dethroned feels long overdue.

Seth Rollins has enjoyed a career defining couple of years. He has been the torch-bearer for Monday Night Raw and has had stand-out matches, performances, promos and crowd reactions. The highlight that pushed Rollins over the top being his Gauntlet Match on Monday 19 February 2018.

At WrestleMania 34, everyone knew Roman Reigns was to be crowned WWE Universal Champion by finally defeating Lesnar. Reports were everywhere that Lesnar would be losing and returning to UFC.

The joke was on us when Lesnar retained his WWE Universal Championship in last year's main event.

Those same familiar rumours have returned. Daniel Cormier is even fueling those rumours by teasing a run-in at WrestleMania 35 to set up a future fight in UFC. This is meant to lead us to speculate that Lesnar will lose to Rollins.

We’ve been along this road before, and looks like we are being dragged down it once again.
