10 Mistakes WWE Will Make At WrestleMania 35
4. Triple H Vs. Batista Goes Too Long
One of the numerous reasons why each WrestleMania is so long in recent years is due to matches like this.
Both HHH and Batista are the wrong side of 45-years-old, and should not be going anywhere near a 15-minute bout. Batista struggled during his previous run in 2014, and 5 years later, this will be no different.
This bout will be placed in a highlighted spot. The match will come directly after a filler backstage promo, Hall of Fame parade or a toned-down match. This is the spot where the crowd are back and ready to dedicate their all once again. This will then be followed by a highly anticipated bout like Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan. The crowd will now be drained, and the match will suffer for it.
Unfortunately, this will be filled with shenanigans that will drag the match closer to 30 minutes rather than 15. Expect a sledgehammer spot, a run-in from Ric Flair and far too many near-falls to bloat out this final WWE match of Dave Batista.
