Tenille Dashwood - the superstar formerly known as Emma - was the first female Australian wrestler to be signed by WWE, and she made a significant impact on the developmental brand, helping to shape the future of women's wrestling as a leading figure in the early days of NXT. Although she never soared to her contemporaries' heights, she found success after turning heel, highlighted by a ripping mini-feud with Asuka.

Her time on the main roster, was not so endearing, as she was placed in pointless feuds, featured in cringe-worthy angles and never attained any championship gold.

Also, Emmalina existed.

Following her release in 2017, Dashwood began taking independent bookings and found herself working for companies like ROH and Impact - where she is still currently situated. Little has changed, however: Dashwood is yet to outgrow her WWE role in Impact in particular.

The Australian star has failed to capture the Knockouts Title on more than one occasion and has moved into a rather supporting role with the promotion, with small victories here and there, but nothing that makes her a main event level talent.
