Those words by Strikeforce commentator Gus Johnson will live on in infamy following one of the sport's most shameful moments, but it didn't need to end as it did.

Jake Shields had just defied the odds by defending his Strikeforce Middleweight Title against MMA legend Dan Henderson, and during his post-fight interview former opponent Mayhem Miller had cheekily leaned into the mic to ask when he would be getting his rematch.

Sheilds' team clearly took exception to Miller's comments, and seconds later Nick Diaz and Gilbert Melendez started attacking Miller, prompting an all-out brawl to take place within the cage.

Shields would later apologise for the incident but it didn't stop the Nashville Brawl from being both a major source of embarrassment, and ammunition for the detractors of the sport of MMA, in the years to come.
