10 Moments That Caused Huge Rifts Between Wrestlers

8. Kevin Nash Impersonates Arn Anderson

The perception that Kevin Nash phoned it in and smirked while doing so was true - he outwardly shaped it himself - but it does betray what a dynamite big man worker he was when motivated.

That said, Kevin Nash worked more diligently on getting his prosthetic make-up just right for his ruthless character assassination of Arn Anderson than virtually everything he did after the clock struck midnight on 1998. It was astonishingly detailed. He crafted a piss-take with the loving attentiveness of a sculptor.

Arn Anderson naturally wasn't amused when Nash buried him as a beer-swilling, gym-allergic, glue-bound old horse. Nash claims Arn took it well, until his wife said "he made you look like a stupid f*cking drunk".

"I didn't like it," Arn Anderson said. "How could ya?"

He regrets saying no, and has pointed out - quite rightly - that it never put any butts in seats. Nash had spoofed his retirement speech, and knew there was nowhere to go with the angle before he'd ruddied his cheeks. And that's why Arn hated it: if it couldn't be business, it had to be personal, no?

Still: absolutely tremendous banter.
