10 MORE TERRIBLE Decisions We Have Made As The Authority Of WWE

2. Baron Corbin: Pay-Per-View Headliner!

Baron Corbin is a very tall man.

Small children are impressed by big, strong men, big, strong men capable of carrying them on their shoulders and allowing them to see the wonders of the world from on high. Vince McMahon is akin to a small child; he is wildly erratic in mood, is a terrible sleeper, is very tactile, and is deeply amused by faeces.

Perhaps Vince sees Baron backstage, stretches out his arms, whines "Carry! Carry!", and makes Baron do this, and is so elated that he promises to be a good boy and give him a main event push before bedtime. This, despite the fact that Baron is very formulaic talent with some impressive signature moves, a sh*tload of rest holds, and no interesting or dynamic means of piecing them together.

But we're not Vince, so who pitched this? RAW's ratings are circling the drain. Fans are voicing their disinterest by the week. Corbin's main event third-hour extravaganzas pull in dismal, dismal numbers. Only the most loyal, conditioned members of the WWE Universe think this is a halfway good idea.

Did Ric Flair purchase another 50% stake in WWE? Is that why Vince is injecting his company with actual, objective ratings poison?
