10 MORE Wrestlers Who Hated Working Together
6. Sunny & Sable
Sable and Sunny didn't cross paths on WWE television too often during their mutual time in the company, but this was by design: the duo absolutely loathed one another behind the scenes.
Both were instrumental in dragging the company's women's division towards its 'Divas' phase. Sunny laid the blueprint in 1995, but Sable wasn't far behind her. They were both actively competing for the same spot in a small group promoted almost entirely on aesthetics, and problems arose when Sunny proclaimed herself 'The Original Diva,' much to Sable's chagrin.
Countless wrestling personalities have spoken on the rivalry, and while the specific details vary, each presents a similar narrative: Sunny was deeply jealous of Sable. The WWE Hall Of Famer has since refuted this, claiming that her heat with Sable came because she "really wasn't a good person." Whatever the case, Sable clearly "won" the rivalry, becoming a Playboy centrefold, WWE Women's Champion, and a genuine Attitude Era draw. Sunny, meanwhile, was released from the promotion in July 1998.
The bad blood endures today, with Sunny never shy of shooting on Sable when asked about her former rival in interviews.
