Some of you might be aware that one of Kurt Angle's first ever (non-televised) WWF matches was against Owen Hart - and if you don't, you do now - but even more random is that the Olympic Hero locked up with Terry Taylor.

Truth be told, Taylor wasn't an active wrestler, per se, at the time of this match in May 1999.

This was a Terry Taylor who'd spent the best part of two years working solely live events for WCW before signing with WWF in '98. Upon arriving back at Titan Towers, Taylor was utilised as a backstage interviewer and occasional commentator.

Away from main WWF programming, though, 'Terrific' Terry would work the odd house show or dark match against some of the rookie talent of the day. And, as you've likely guessed by now, one such rookie was an up 'n' comer called Kurt Angle.

It was in Baltimore, Maryland where Angle vs. Taylor took place - with Kurt getting the W on that May night.

Like a few other entries featured here, though, sadly no footage of this match exists. While Terry Taylor isn't viewed as a true all-time great, there's no disputing that Taylor was a technically sound in-ring hand - and he and Kurt Angle would've made for a fun watch, even if Angle's pro days were in their infancy.
