10 More Wrestlers You'll NEVER Believe Shared The Same Ring

5. Larry Zbyszko & Corey Graves

WWE Hall of Famer Larry Zbyszko rose to true superstardom by shockingly turning on his long-time mentor Bruno Sammartino in 1980. At 28 years of age, Zbyszko already had seven years in the business under his belt by then.

So, to imagine the Living Legend wrestling current WWE announcer Corey Graves seems unfathomable.

Before taking a spot at the announce desk, of course, Graves was a wrestler tipped to be one of the first true breakout stars of NXT. Going back further, though, and Graves' pre-WWE days saw him competing on the independent scene under the guise of Sterling James Keenan.

It was back during that time that the future Corey Graves faced off against fellow Pittsburgh native Larry Zbyszko, with the two locking up at a 14 July 2004 event for the International Wrestling Cartel promotion.

This bout went in the favour of the then-53-year-old Zbyszko, and it came mere months after Sterling James had retained the IWC Heavyweight Championship against a certain CM Punk.

Sadly, it doesn't appear that there's any video footage out there of Zbyszko vs. Sterling - although there is the entire match of Punk vs. Sterling available to watch online.
