10 More Wrestling Moves Wrestlers Refused To Take

3. Road Dogg - Ladder Dumpster Bump

German Suplexes were largely off the cards, for sure. But falling off the top of a ladder and into a dumpster on The Grandest Stage of Them All? That was all fine and dandy for Cactus Jack.

The same could not be said for one Road Dogg Jesse James, however, who had one look at said ladder spot and gave the whole concept a big ol' "NOPE".

Before the events of the WrestleMania XIV Dumpster Match between The New Age Outlaws and Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie actually unfolded in front of the capacity crowd, the performers took to rehearsing the chaotic contest beforehand.

And it was during this moment that Road Dogg found himself having second thoughts about his planned bump from atop the steps and into the rather large bin below. As he'd reveal on the Oh... You Didn't Know? podcast:

"I went up the ladder in the ring and during rehearsals and I looked down, way down there at that dumpster. No, it was way down there. And I literally looked and I said, ‘I’m not, I’m not taking this bump Billy, you take this bump,’"

And that's precisely what hilariously happened, with Daddy Ass ultimately taking the frightening fall into the trash alongside Foley instead. What a pal.
