Jerry Lawler's King's Court is a veritable battery farm when it comes to producing Easter eggs it seems, as 23 years after Shawn Michael's 'Oz' joke, a 2017 edition of the chat show hatched another rib at the expense of a member of the roster.

Above his run as a beer-swilling, poker-playing Acolyte and irritating, uncatchable heel champion, JBL's WWE career came to be defined by his bellicose backstage antics. So it was with some considerable delight when the bully went arse over tit as he rushed to aid his broadcasting colleague after he'd been laid out by Dolph Ziggler. Bradshaw's brilliant prat-fall was sadly excised from subsequent edits, apparently being tonally inappropriate for such a serious segment. Shame.

It was clearly very funny though, and WWE agreed, finding themselves a more tongue-in-cheek way to mock their veteran commentator's tumble. Just a week after becoming intimate with the floor, a jobber turned up on 205 Live by the name of 'Tripp Bradshaw'. The more belligerent they are, the more hilariously they fall.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
