If there is one thing that the wrestling world loves, it is a good comeback story. Wrestlers like Jeff Hardy, Jon Moxley, and Shawn Michaels, amongst others have been embraced by the fans following battles with their personal demons.

The man most recently known in IMPACT Wrestling as W. Morrissey could be the next man added to that list if and when he returns to WWE. After issues with alcohol abuse contributed to his release from Vince McMahon’s employment back in 2018, the real-life William Morrissey has seemingly come out the other end better than ever. A solid run for IMPACT, as well as a surprise one-off appearance for AEW, has led many fans to want to see the former Big Cass return to WWE.

Back around the time of the Royal Rumble, rumors were swirling that McMahon would open the forbidden door for their biggest match of the year. Cass was one of the men talked about returning, but it was all for naught. However, now that Triple H is in charge, it could be the perfect time for one of the realest men in the room to come home to WWE.
